Jahnavi is an Architect and a Planner. She has Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Bachelors in Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNA & FAU), Hyderabad.

During her academic life she was versed with the preparation of local area plans, perspective plans and model village concepts. For her thesis project she had diligently worked on Urban Floods and their mitigation methods, while proposing a 5fold-10step solution.

As an intern at Administrative staff college of India (ASCI), she was exposed to performance metrics of survey and assessment of Information, Education & Communication (IEC) materials while working on SBM (Swachh Bharath Mission).

She has previously worked with HMDA as Junior planning Personnel through Harmony Consultancy, on Development Permission Management System (DPMS), preparation of water body committee reports of Ghatkesar zone and other technical works.

Here at NIUM, Jahnavi has been working on Building permission systems and Urban infrastructure projects. She is appointed as a research associate to work and contribute her inputs on Urban related Issues.
