Praveen is an Urban & Environmental planner and holds a Master’s Degree in Planning in Environmental Planning and Management from School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada. He was engaged with various institutions like Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TUFIDC), with Directorate of Town & Country Planning Department (DTCP) under AMRUT as an urban planner. He was involved in Master plan preparation, Physical Planning and Governance, implementation of AMRUT reforms Solid Waste Management and City Sanitation Plan, Swachh Surveksham related Activities for various urban local bodies in Telangana State

He worked as a Consultant in Watershed Support Services & Activities Network (WASSAN) for WASH Programme & Ground water related research projects. He was involved in activities like training & awareness programme. He has also worked in GITPAC International, Trivandrum as an Urban Planner during his tenure he was involved in Attukal Temple Master Plan & Harippad Master plan project.

At NIUM he is involved in research and training activities related to Urban Infrastructure, Solid Waste Management, Municipal Finance, Municipal Reforms Etc.
